Lifetime Warranty
At Norrfolks, we believe fine jewelry should be crafted to last a lifetime.
Every Norrfolks piece is handcrafted using precious metals and carefully selected diamonds. We stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship and proudly offer a Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty on all jewelry crafted from January 1st, 2025 onwards.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Should a manufacturing defect occur, Norrfolks will inspect the item and, at our sole discretion, repair or replace the piece free of charge.
We guarantee that every piece leaving our atelier is free from manufacturing defects at the time of delivery.
What Is Covered
Our Lifetime Warranty covers manufacturing defects relating to:
- Craftsmanship and workmanship
- Defects in materials used during production
- Faults resulting directly from the manufacturing process
A manufacturing defect refers to a flaw that was present at the time the jewelry was produced or delivered.
What Is Not Covered
The Lifetime Warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Scratches, dents, surface marks or metal wear acquired through use
- Bent rings or misshapen settings caused by impact or external force
- Worn, damaged or lifted prongs resulting from everyday wear
- Loss of diamonds or gemstones due to impact, wear or accidental damage
- Damage caused by accidents, misuse, neglect or improper care
- Exposure to chemicals, cosmetics, cleaning products, pools, hot tubs or similar environments
- Discoloration of precious metals caused by chemicals, cosmetics, perfumes or environmental factors
- Normal wear of rhodium plating
- Broken chains, clasps or components resulting from normal wear
- Theft, loss or disappearance of jewelry
- Damage caused by unauthorized repairs, modifications or alterations
These situations are considered normal ownership risks and are not manufacturing defects.
Maintaining Your Warranty
To preserve your warranty coverage, all repairs, modifications, resizing services and other structural alterations must be performed by Norrfolks.
Any repair, alteration or modification carried out by a third party may void this warranty.
We recommend periodic inspections, particularly for engagement rings and wedding bands worn daily, to ensure the continued security of gemstones and settings. Regular inspections help identify normal wear before it develops into more significant damage.
Norrfolks reserves the right to determine whether a claim qualifies as a manufacturing defect following inspection of the jewelry.
Complimentary Cleaning & Inspection
To help maintain the beauty and integrity of your jewelry, Norrfolks offers one complimentary professional cleaning and inspection service within the first three years following purchase.
This service includes:
- Professional cleaning
- Polishing
- Rhodium renewal for white gold jewelry (if required)
- Prong inspection
Shipping costs may apply.
We strongly encourage clients to take advantage of this service, particularly for engagement rings and wedding bands that are worn daily.
Regular maintenance helps ensure that settings remain secure and allows potential wear to be identified before it develops into more significant issues.
